    The food was alright. The chips weren't really fresh but the rest of the meal was enjoyable. The service was quick and friendly. The facilities are a bit outdated but clean. The dining room floor was a bit messy but was in the process of being cleaned while we were there.

    Glad we dont have Red Rooster in NZ as I'm sure it would drag down the level of our restaurants. Toilets would have been fine in the 90's....... Just haven't been touched since. The food.....? Well for a place that is all about chicken it's a big let down. They just serve up super market type oven roasted chicken with no distinct flavour, just blandness really. The gravy looks promising, the kind you wish you could get from KFC ie in little pots but without potato in it. However it fails bigly on flavour and texture. Bland and gluggly with a floury taster to it.
